From Our Farm to Your Table

 We are a truly sustainable diversified dairy with the goal of providing your family nutrient dense, affordable, and delicious food.  We raise Fleckvieh cattle and take care of our soils, with the help of Midwest Bio-Ag, using methods that exceed National Organic Production Standards.  With the aid of our teams of American Brabant draft horses, we are able to use less fossil fuel. Together with the sun, rain and grass, we are providing you with wholesome uniquely grown beef and dairy products. 

 ** Note:  Grass Based Not Grassfed
Our beef will now be “grass based” instead of “grassfed”. What does this mean? Our farm, and more specifically the beef and milk produced here, continues to be certified organic. The vast majority of the cattle’s diet continues to be forage (various clovers and grasses). However, for our cows’ health, we are feeding corn silage (the entire corn plant all chopped up and fermented) to our milk cows and some grain to our young calves at weaning time to help with their transition from drinking milk to eating forage. We hope that this change from all-grass to almost-all-grass doesn’t greatly inconvenience anyone. This change has been made in the best interest of our farm and our animals.
