How to Cook Your Organic Grass Fed Beef
  • Guard against overcooking.
  • Grass fed beef is best enjoyed rare or medium-rare.  ​
  • Grass fed beef has less fat and cooks faster than grain fed beef.
  • When grilling, be sure your grill is preheated before adding the meat. 
  • Retain the beef's natural juices; use tongs instead of a fork when turning the meat.
  • Thaw grass fed beef in the refrigerator 12-24 hours. Microwave thawing can cause tough spots. 
  • Let the beef come to room temperature before cooking.
  • Grass fed beef's fat melts at a lower temperature than grain fed beef.
  • Cook grass fed beef at temperatures 50 degrees lower than traditional recipes indicate.  ​
